Btw, I noticed this little continuity error at the beginning: When Twilight Sparkle talks about Mage Meadowbrook having 8 magical items, not 9, she refers to Mage Meadowbrook as a Unicorn Pony. Yet weirdly enough 2 Seasons later in Season 7, we see Mage Meadowbrook as a Earth Pony. anyone notice that?

Episode 94: Castle Sweet Castle
Great Episode to show Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie helping make Twilight's Castle feel like home.
Plus we gotta love this mane look Twilight Sparkle had in this episode, or as us fans call it: Punklight Sparkle! :D
Btw..... for some odd reason, Tara Strong wasn't listed in the Credits despite voicing Twilight Sparkle in this episode! O_O

Gotta love how this episode showcase The Five Stages of Grief for Rainbow Dash. And speaking of Rainbow Dash, it was really Awesome that she got her First Solo Song! :D

Good episode to show Appleoosa again. plus I gotta admit that was cool that Trouble Shoes was voiced by one of the Staff Members on the show: Jim Miller

Ah, Starlight Glimmer. The pony that I loved to hate when she was evil, and the pony that I can't bring myself to give a hoot about now that she's good. XD I don't hate her, but I think she worked so much better as a psychopathic cult leader.
Good list of scores for these episodes.
And btw, yeah, Twilight's mane-style from Castle Sweet Castle was pretty cool.
It would be kind of fun to see her change looks sometime.

See, I don't MIND a redeemed villain, but HOW they are forgiven is really important to me. They screw that up, and I just can't buy what they're trying to sell me.
And Starlight being forgiven for running a twisted cult where she basically persuaded ponies to mutilate their own souls (as by giving up their special talent, they were essentially giving up a part of their own intrinsic nature), and then nearly destroying the world through a time-travel temper tantrum... and all of this being caused because her friend never wrote back to her?
I'm sorry, but no.
I may not be one of the people in the community who despises Starlight and everything to do with her, but her "tragic past" did nothing to win me over. And several of the episodes involving her as a "good" character did even less in that regard. (Looking at you, Every Little Thing She Does.)

...Eh. I found her far cuter in the flashback in "A Hearth's Warming Tale". And far sadder too, when her happiness is crushed.
That was far more effective for me, having a bright little filly's optimism crushed by a cold uncaring teacher, rather than "Boo-hoo, my best friend didn't answer my letters."

Hehe, well thank you. I'm glad to know I'm not alone on how I feel about the character.
And yeah, Punk!Twi was a fun look. Maybe they should make a sequel episode to "It's Not the Mane Thing About You" with Rarity and Twilight getting into the punk scene. XD
