Tell Your Tale: A Swing and a Misty

    My inner shipper is squealing.

If you've wanted Alphabittle, Haven, and their respective kids to become a new family unit, this episode is for you.

Did anyone actually ask for this?

So apparently Playtonic is remastering Yooka-Laylee.

Who asked for this? Who thought this was a good idea?

    A few things, Playtonic:

    1. This game is only seven years old.

I have an excuse for not being able to aim straight.

Will try and get an update or two out soon, but...

...These next two weeks at work are going to be stressful as hell.

I just have to say one thing, just to get it off my chest.

If any of my readers are private health inspectors with standards higher than local laws, I just have this to say:

    That is all.

    Good night.

    Tell Your Tale: P + P = BFFs

This week, we've got a... Somewhat touching Posey episode?

Think this would benefit from a longer runtime. I also laughed harder than necessary at Izzy in the very beginning.

Backlog Update · 1:27am Feb 17th, 2018

Well, it was bound to happen.

When I first attempted Wolfenstein The New Order on my Xbox One back in 2014, I got all the way to the London Monitor boss (I'm told very close to the end of the game) and then when my friends arrived, we left to go see Rainbow Rocks in theaters.

That was the last time I touched it until this month, when I nabbed the Steam version for cheap.

Now I'm quitting and probably picking another title from my backlog. It has gotten frustrating to the point where I'm no longer motivated to finish it. The stealth is entirely hit-or-miss, emptying three clips into an armored baddie and having no clue how close he is to death, and having to manually pick up every ammo, health, and armor drop...

Just some design decisions that I am fed up with. Id, you nailed it with Doom 2016, and I am looking forward to the announcement of the next one, but this one just stumbles every other step or so. It's not fun anymore.

So what to play next...

So what to play next...

Ghost Recon Wildlands? It's on sale now, and it's a really fucking good game. I'm already 140 hours in and it's still not old.

I meant games already in my backlog. That's kind of the point, to absolutely minimize gaming purchases in the first half of 2018 so I can get my lens I want for my third annual trip to the Badlands.

I still play RO2. Im replaying Fallout 2 atm though.
