A New Story in the Works

Hey, all.

Those of you that have read a few chapters of Larkspur Blossom may recall Lark's thoughts on history as he sat in his classroom in Chapter 3.

I'm working on a new piece, telling the story of Lt. Zip "Fire" Screamer.

The story will explain how a Pegasus air force hero, blooded in combat, came to command a raw platoon in a newly reformed company. After the Centauri Army invades the beaches of modern-day Vanhoover, the Equestrian forces nearby must retreat. Split off from their rapidly dying division, the Lieutenant's platoon soon finds itself the only thing between the Centauri Army and the fastest road to Canterlot. They must hold a pass in the Unicorn Range until the Equestrian Army can fully assemble if there is to be any hope of survival.

Not the easiest story to explain in a paragraph, but I think it could be pretty good shorter story, and a change of pace from Larkspur Blossom, which will go on for some time. I plan to continue releasing Larkspur Blossom during the release, but may only get out a chapter of each a week.

I hope to start releasing next month. Please read it if interested. I just hope it isn't already spoiled by the details in Chapter 3.
