MLP Marathon: Day 11. Equestria Girls · 8:29pm Feb 11th, 2018
(btw, these type of MLP Blog Posts: EG Movies, Specials, Shorts, and the Movie based on the Show will be brief because I'm not used to making full Blog Post entries such as I will be doing for Today's day. As such, I will just go over what I liked about it along with my final score.)
Got through Day 11 of my MLP Marathon. 11 Days down, only 17 Days left to Go! Now.... on to the Brief Review! :D
So..... The First Equestria Girls Movie.....one word that best describes EG1 for me: fantastic!! :D
I mean seriously, it proved to be a great start for the Spin Off Franchise! 2 things I liked about EG1:
1. It debuted my #1 Favorite Character in the WHOLE MLP Franchise: Sunset Shimmer! <3 sure Many Bronies and Pegasisters didn't like Sunset Shimmer at first because of her role as a Villain, but come the sequels that followed after the 1st EG Movie, you can see why Sunset Shimmer managed to gain a big Fanbase. (and I'm part of that Fanbase! <3)
2. It debuted my 22nd Favorite Character and my Favorite Background Human from EG: Mystery Mint!

RQOTD: Who is your Favorite Background Human from the EG series? and if so, Then give a reason why you like that Background Human so much. (btw, just to be clear: it's NOT the Background Humans that we know that have a Pony Counterpart in Equestria, like Derpy for example. It's the ones that don't have a counterpart in FiM yet.)

You must be in the minority when it comes to the original EqG movie. Many people, myself included, felt like there was a forced love interest between Twilight and Flash Sentry. It wasn't dumpster fire material by a long shot but out of the four movies, it was the weakest in my opinion. I personally think Rainbow Rocks was better and was the best of them because of the Dazzlings.

The cafeteria song from that movie is irresistibly catchy, at least for me. XD
And, controversial opinion here, I don't hate Flash Sentry. Seriously, people, he only had one dance with Twilight. That's as far as their romance went! Stop dumping on the guy already!
And for favorite EG human? Hmm... just for the humor of the character, I have a soft spot for Sandalwood. Mr. "Let's do trust falls!"
I also really like the Shadowbolts - Sugarcoat and Indigo Zap probably being my favorites.

I am not happy with how the EqG vids are turning out at the present. I uh... probably said that a while ago. I think.
Which is why I really love Equestria Girls more than the other EqG movies (welll, maybe not Rainbow Rocks) It brings back a lot of memories, you know.
