Moth Plays Dragonball Xenoverse, Episode 9: Kinoa's New Master? I Will Surpass Son Goku!! · 4:34am Feb 11th, 2018

Welcome back!

Last episode, Kinoa completed her training with Piccolo, learning his signature technique Ma Kankou Sappou, and fought alongside the villains of many historic battles, including a life-or-death struggle against Super Saiyajin Son Goku (that unfortunately didn't make it into the last video due to pilot error). Now in search of new training and new techniques, Kinoa is determined to surpass the first Super Saiyajin of the modern age...

Episode 9: Kinoa's New Master? I Will Surpass Son Goku!!

Having witnessed the power of Super Saiyajin with her own eyes, Kinoa has become obsessed with breaking through her own limits and achieving that power. While still fulfilling her duties as a Time Patrol agent, Kinoa pursues her own agenda, seeking to find the secret to becoming a Super Saiyajin. Even as she revisits that pivotal battle on Planet Namek again and again, she trains with Kuririn, Son Goku's best friend, whose death was a key factor in provoking Goku's initial transformation. Upon realizing Kuririn has very little to offer her other than a couple of new fighting techniques to add to her arsenal, Kinoa turns elsewhere in her quest for power--and temporarily joins the Ginyuu Tokusentai, in hopes that training with Captain Ginyuu will toughen her up enough to break down the walls and reach that glorious new power.

While I was auditing the clips to go into this one, I had this exchange with Zef concerning the one fight where I managed to draw ALL the aggro:

Moth: YIKES @ the pounding I'm taking from Goku and Krill Oil
Moth: I somehow managed to draw ALL the aggro in this one
Zef: Considering that you're actively trying to kill them :p
Moth: I'm trying to get in solid hits on Kuririn but not only is he getting past my strikes to nail me before I get him, I've got Goku up my butt and KHing me from my blind side
Moth: Well yeah but SO IS LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE ON THE BATTLEFIELD
Moth: I mean there's me and three other guys and I'M the one drawing all the aggro?!
Moth: What the hell even IS that?!
Moth: Ginyu, Jiisu, and Freeza could at LEAST keep Goku off my ass while I murder Kuririn!!
Zef: XD
Zef: Well, they're villains, so they're probably laughing their ass off

I still haven't gotten the Super Saiyajin skill to drop, but I've recorded enough successful runs of that mission now that I won't be recording this particular battle anymore. Hell, just in this video it's already pretty redundant.
