Has it Really Been Two Months? · 4:54am Oct 23rd, 2012
No it hasn't, it's been two months and two days. I don't even know where the time goes anymore, one day it's the 15th, the next it's the 23rd. There aren't enough hours in the day or days to keep the hours in. So, what have I been up to in that outrageously long time? Not much, really. Most of it has seen me sitting around and staring blankly into space.
Starswirl Academy is coming along, now that we've gathered up a full team and have begun working on our respective positions. We're inching closer to a demo release, though the full game won't be available for another year and a half at a rough estimate. The website updates every now and then, so keep an eye on that if you're interested.
On the issues of my fics, I have good news, bad news, and more good news. The good news is that I think it's time I give Fading Twilight the conclusion it deserves. I'll be at work on that when I get the chance, and it should be out before too long (take that with a grain of salt, as you all know how bad I am with schedules and such).
As for the bad news, I'm putting Colbert and Invasion on indefinite hiatus. I do like the ideas behind them, and in the future I could definitely see myself returning to them, but as for right now, my investment in them is shot. My interest in them has faded, and if I tried writing them now, I think I'd write them just to be done with them instead of writing them for the stories they tell.
Finally, Halloween is just around the corner, and it might not come as a surprise to hear it's one of my favorite holidays. The possibilities for scares are endless, and it's the time of year for all sorts of creepy things to thrive. Creepy things are what I'm good with, and I may just have an idea or two of the sort crawling around in my mind.
