If you've seen the "hiatus" tag on A World Above, don't worry. It doesn't mean I'm cancelling the story. I've just been having less and less energy to write the next chapter. I think part of my problem is that my writing mojo is getting transferred to my sister, who's currently writing Brotherhood and Sisterhood. Considering the deadline she has for uploading a certain chapter, I say she needs it.
With that said, I regret not being able to write the 8th RCF story since my creative burst in the last days of 2017. I apologize for the long waits you've had to endure since this story began. Here's my promise to you: spring break for my college is next month and I hope to use that time to finish a good portion of the story, if not all of it. If I can muster the creativity to write a few chapters earlier than spring break, then great! To make sure you don't have to wait for the next update indefinitely, I've decided to complete the story by this deadline: March 24th. That's when Season 8 starts airing. If you decide not to read the story until it's complete, then come back on or around that day to read the rest of the chapters.
Again, I deeply apologize for making A World Above the story with the longest hiatuses. I hope I don't repeat this pattern with the 9th installment.😳
You know what, I understand; school can get pretty hectic at times (I know, I've been there), so I believe I can be patient for the story to finish. Heck, I managed to survive the wait for Season 8 release date, and that finally paid off. Either way, I eagerly anticipate how the story will end; I've been really enjoying it so far, and if you need time off to get back the creative juices, then so be it.
I doubt it'll be a problem for the 9th installment given how much you've already got planned for that one, if anything I just want you to rest up from the stress you're experiencing this semester. And I think you're right about the creative juices being transferred to me, and it's a good thing too because I need all my energy into the latest chapter.
