Installed every update. I got on to the final update that was supposedly marked as "Important", which was Windows RT 8.1 Update 3. Turns out it's actually an optional update that the Surface RT somehow mixed in with everything else, aaaaaand... the whole thing bricked again.
Another reset later, and now I'm going through installing updates for the third time now, and this time, I'm gonna pay special attention to what's installing and what isn't.
Also, seems like a user on Microsoft Answers was able to avoid bricking their Surface RT after updating by instead shutting it down completely and turning it back on rather than just hitting restart. I'm gonna do that every time I need to restart.
fuck
You have my sincerest apologies for whatever your going throw, technology annoys me, so that's why I'm focusing more towards physics or epidemiology. Well have fun
does this mean you will finally have a pc that will play modded minecraft?

I already have nice PC that I built a year ago. I bought the Surface RT so that I'd have a decent device to do some writing on when I'm out.
