Today is extra different than usual because I wrote a new story! It's a one off set in it's own world Starring Prince Blueblood as the protagonist! Why, you ask? I don't know! As I tend to be, I wanted to write about a particular feeling I was struggling with at the time I started thinking about this story, and after I'd gotten the words out, I didn't know what to do with them. With no build up and no character to speak them for me, it was just empty venting. I knew I could get the feeling across if I could just elaborate on what it was I was writing, so then I started thinking about who, besides me, could be saying these words to express that feeling? I ran through a few characters until I settled on another few ideas that had been running around in my head until finally, I found what I wanted.
A rather disturbing revelation came to be after I had finished and I realized that some of those off color words and the way he thinks about others... may have been less me writing a character and more how I really feel sometimes. Like, I really try not to be the haughty ass that Blueblood is in this story, but man, do I Identify with him and the character(s) I ripped his speech patterns from, and that is not a good thing for several reasons. That aside, I was rather proud of this one. Maybe not the cover I made for it, but that's just lack of experience and know how over technical skill, because I am just awful with lighting geometric shapes.
Anyways, that's all from me. Super will update on Thursday the 1st around 9:30AM CST. I want to put a little space between this and that so that the people who will get the chance to read both with some distance between them. Super should also update on the 5th some time as well.
