    It's another boring one! I ain't wrote nothin'! :B

It actually feels lately like I've been crawling out of a pit? So maybe there's a light ahead? But it's also blocked by Balatro lol somepony save me D:

The only other thing relevant to this blog is that I've had notes for a vs. post sitting in my notes document for probably the entire month now, what is wrong with me? D:

Fic recs, April 22nd: Jordan179 edition

Once again, though a good bit late, I bring it upon myself to memorialize an author via reviews of their stories. Though this time, it's different, as I had no connection to Jordan179 and only learned of his passing (three years ago this month, coincidentally), from this post

Another post about video games and Youtube and stuff

If I'm going to waste time watching shit on Youtube, the least I can do is tell people about it. :P

Ceave is a crazy Austrian with a love of video games and a head for philosophizing about them. Plus he really, really hates coins, no matter how tasty they may look.

Do you like video games? How about philosophy?

I like one of those things for sure, but no one combines the two better than a Youtuber named InfernalRamblings, a former professional game developer who now creates hour and a half long video essays about the meanings of video games and how they relate to the world today. Here's a few highlights, since this is now basically my only

6,000+ views, 160 comments, a full four days spent in the featured box.

Hundreds of people have read it. I've read it multiple times myself.

And literally none of us realized that a chess set has thirty-two pieces.

Yes, there's maybe 16 different types of pieces, but there are sixteen pieces to a side.

Just add it to the list of things everyone missed, I guess. :V

P.S.: Also there were typos in Beer and a Knife Fight 2.

P.P.S.: Also, also, rereading these stories is great I SHOULD BE SLEEPING BUT NOPE

One time, one of my stories had the title misspelled and it was in the popular box for like a day before I realized it. :raritydespair:

4783364 Me too, but a reader swatted me with it pronto. Latin phrasing seems to be a popular error reporting comment also. We're an odd bunch, we pony peeps. (I'm still not changing The Traveling Tutor and the Diplomats Daughter to use proper possessive, to keep from goofing up existing links)

Actually, fimfic urls are dependent upon the story number, and not what comes after it. Those links will still work. (Plus, I don't think punctuation shows up in them anyway.)

4783369 Yep. The same is true of blog and user numbers. You don't even need to put anything after the number, the site will still recognize it for that reason.

I feel the need to point out there are in fact 6 different types of pieces in chess : King, Queen, Bishop, Knight, Rook, Pawn :rainbowlaugh:
