I am bad at keeping promises.

Around mid-January of this year I told myself 'It's been 4 years, I need to get this story to a certain point before its anniversary.'

Going to a four year college. (And why I said 'fuck that')

Being a doctor or a physicist is great and all, but you're really more likely to just sink yourself in student debt and still not end up with a well paying job.

My advice: Go pick up a trade.

Be a plumber, electrician, carpenter, etc . . . the world needs more of those.

Being a doctor or a physicist is great and all, but you're really more likely to just sink yourself in student debt and still not end up with a well paying job.

My advice: Go pick up a trade.

Be a plumber, electrician, carpenter, etc . . . the world needs more of those.

Funnily enough, the 'blue collar' jobs that people tend to look down on, can end up paying more than some of the more common 'white collar' jobs out there.

If none of the afore mentioned jobs works for you, go find what does. Hell, you're reading this on a site dedicated to writing. Yeah, it's fanfiction . . . That just means you've already got a world made. Write some shit, get good, or at the very least confident.

You'll eventually come up with an idea of your own, and you can run with it.

Yeah, you may have to work at a grocery store or something while you write it, and yeah, the first thing you write may not be an instant hit . . . so you write somwthing else.

You could always become a musician, assuming you can learn to play an instrument.

All I'm saying is that a 4 year college is not your only option.
