There's really only one thng I hate about winter... · 3:11am Jan 22nd, 2018
I live in the midwestern United states, I'm used to the cold and snowstorms. I always figure if I'm cold I can just put on a sweater or get under a blanket, or just work a little harder depending on the situation. What I can't get over is illness, apparently.
This is my second cold this month. I started to get one over New Years and now its made its rounds to my nephews, to my sister, to my father and back to me. In that time its changed enough to hit me just as hard as before. I've got a dry cough, sneezing fits, a runny nose, and severe headaches and it puts a damper on my concentration.
I'm eating well, I had the good fortune to make a grocery trip before this started but damned if this isn't the quickest I've contracted something after getting well again.
I hear ye. Cold're the worst. Get lots of tea in you, and be sure to spit out as much mucus as you can. That way you avoid being phlegm-y for long after your cold, like me
I feel ya man!
I finished one cold, only to have another, and then catch a stomach bug after six days of work to deal with that at the start of five days off of work--still had to end up calling in.
Get well soon!
