Questioning Things

Hey all,
I'm writing this blog to get a second, or well third, by now, opinion. When I set out to make this character years ago I wanted to do it "right", which is what I thought I did. I wanted the interactions between characters to feel natural, well as natural as they can get between two fictional characters. But, I feel as though I've made this snowflake of a character that is no where even close to how I wanted him to turn out. I guess what I'm asking is, is it wrong to have an oc interact with a canon character, as is written in the story at this point, is it wrong to do that? I don't really know to be honest, which is why I'm asking.

Anyway, hopefully your responses can shed some light on what's right and what's wrong to do with this character.
