Hello!
It’s me Adorkable and I’m back after a fair bit off!
Am I tired?...well yes.
Am I slightly insane by the acts of others?....maybe.
Am I dragging this out because my mind is all over the place?...you bet your aunt sally I am!
Since I’ve been off for like a week, I’m bringing you not just one Adorkable Tales but two!
So get ready! This double update is coming right at you….to...um...hit you in the butt...yeah.
Alright so I’m not the best at intros. Main reason why in school if i’m asked to take the lead on something I’ll simply just shut down.
“Adorkable. Why don’t you take the lead on this project?”
“I umm..belrg-a-baba?”
“....”
“....”
“Ok! Kara why don’t you take the lead on this project?”
Yeah. Here I can chat till the cows come home, but place me in a room full of my peers and you get the fun of seeing me have a total meltdown. Clammy hands, dilated pupils and heavy breathing, yep I become quite the mess.
But I sure hope you didn’t come to this blog to hear about how my body functions shut down in public, if so then that is just pretty weird. No you came to hear about how I make a fool out of myself on a daily basis, so in spirit of that I shall share why I was gone so long?
The short story is...family.
For those who don’t know, I enjoy my alone time. I’m a total Introvert and prefer the company of myself to others, not to say I don’t enjoy the company of someone else. It’s just I won’t actively go searching for said person, I’ll let them come to me.
And they did that in waves.
My cousins had to come stay with us for about a week, their dad went and busted like every pipe in the house they live in.
How?
I have no idea but he just came over last week, with his wife in tow she had a real dark grimace upon her face as if she had scolded her husband the whole way here. Behind her were my six cousins…
Yeah I said six!
Three or um four girls! and two boys.
Why did I pause like that? Well one of my cousins Katie is um...Trans?
For those out of the know, he was born a boy but believes he was supposed to be a girl? So now he is in the middle of like transitioning from one gender to the other. I call her Katie though as she has asked, and other than that she is like super awesome.
We chat about girl stuff and games, which is cool since like my other cousins that are girls like hate games.
Anyway the six kids were behind her all of which were giving death glares to their dad.
“Hey! I was wondering if we could stay here a bit buddy, our house is under a bit of renovation…”
“He blew up the house.” His wife just said in like the most serious tone ever.
“Okay.” My dad just replied, his face as blank as a piece of wood.
Here I am in the background smiling like a doofus.
Wow I get to spend some extra time with the cousins!
Like a few hours later, three of the girls are bunked in my small room. Each of us scrunched up like a sardine can as we all just give each other odd stares.
“Wow I get to spend extra time…..oh boy.”
My three girl cousins are Kelly, Kimmy and Kayla. Huh and Katie as the fourth...I literally just noticed they have some kind of K kick going on….weird.
Anyway I love them to bits, but they are like polar opposites of me. Kelly is a super popular girly girl, she is always on the phone texting and will like straight up ignore you at times.
“Yo! K-el! “ My attempt at being cool.
“Texting noises”
“How was your night? Did you maybe sleep well?”
“Texting noises.”
“The sun is exploding outside.”
“Texting noises.”
“I have a knife!”
“Texting noises.”
“Well the art of this conversation is truly dead.”
Then I have Kimmy, despite sounding like a cute type girl is a total tomboy. She is part of the boys wrestling team and will always ask me if I want to help her with moves. I mean I look like a twig and probably am half the weight of one, so I have totally no idea why she gets the “Move” vibe from me.
“Adorks! Want to help me with this new super awesome submission move?”
“Submis-a-what-now!?”
~Is smashed onto the floor by a pounce and tied into a pretzel.~

My last girl cousin is Kayla, she is into um...witchcraft I guess?
All she does is look up things on my computer, that I don’t find too safe sounding.

I mean I don’t know what to think of this, I hate when she uses my computer for that reason. I’ve had my run in with some spoopy stuff in the past and well would hate for this to invite that creepy stuff back.
Other than that she is kind of off to herself, If I do like and try to flash a smile her way she will kind of like growl at me?
It’s weird, so I tend to try and keep my distance. Except at night though this week, she was lying totally right next to me on my bed. No joke she sleeps with her frickin eyes open!
Easy to say I got no sleep all this week.

I sure hope she is not lie a secret MLP fan and is somehow reading this, if so cousin….please don’t curse me.
All this week has been early wake up calls. weird stares, being beat up by my cousin and worst of all!
SHARING THE BATHROOM!
I mean it’s bad enough to share the bathroom in my house with just my mom, now we have like five give or take other women in the house lolz.
I mean it’s insanity in the morning!
Make-up everywhere! Hair dryers going full blast, no hot water what-so-ever and of course not an ounce of privacy.
I mean I waited to be like the last girl in, with hopes of just being alone for a bit. We have like a pretty big window in the bathroom as well, so as I’m doing my ahem “Business” I look out the window to enjoy the scenery but see like one of my boy cousins um…
Peeing outside in a nearby patch of tall grass. A goofy look on his face as he spots me somehow and for some reason waves.
“Good morning cousin!”
I’ve never lept that fast up to slam close curtains in my life.
I love my cousins with all my heart, even though I might have not shown it this episode. I wanted to keep it brief just in case you guys didn’t want to hear me blab on about my week.
But if you ever wanted to know how this week did go in detail, let me know in the comments I can totes whip up another episode and share all the cra-cra!
I know I didn’t mention my male cousins much, they are fairly older than me for the most part. Heck one even stayed at a friends house most of the week instead at my place, just shows what a hip place we are.
I’m happy my cousins got their place back in order too, I feel super happy in this fact because it was my monies that aided them. Yeppers that 15k in the bank, I got to greenlight my dad loaning some money to fix the pipes.
Made me feel awesome to help out family...that or they’d be staying with us for close to a month...I still wuv you all!
I just wuv my “Me time” a tiny bit more. :3
I hope that you all enjoyed this update, I’m in the middle of writing this one at the moment like right nows.
I had only planned one tale, but suddenly chose to do a double update.
School is out again here because of snow, so I can be as productive or lazy as I please.

lmao, poor girl! I feel ya on preferring the alone time over being surrounded by folks- I get enough of that at work. Glad to hear ya helped out your family and got your space back!
Lol, I know how you feel. My alone time is something a cherish a whole lot. My sisters like to barge into my room for some reason, even if it's locked. Like no joke. She took a bobby pin and unlocked my door just because she was bored.
Like woah.
Your bedroom AND bathroom occupied with like 3 or 4 other people? Not good. No alone time? Not good. Creepy cousin (no offense whatsoever) Not good.
And you absent for like forever? Not freakin good

Lol i know, it creeped me beyond out. My cousins just seem a bit more wild than my family.
As of now they are all out of my place lol. Me time is a go again! They are set up at a pretty noice hotel dad said thier place should be fixed like in a little while. but most of last week was cra-cra!
I mean, compared to my quiet life it was out of control. I didn't get a moments peace the house was full of talking and laughing etc. My cousins loved using my computer, which is an object I basically use as a diary lol.
Idk I love my family to bits, I'm just the shy and introverted type though. Plus all my cousins are just again a wild bunch, I feel so out of place around them. That and more than one of them loves to tease me, so in the end if they ever wanted to stay with us again.
I'd love to have them over again, but until then I'm sooo going to soak up the silence.
