    A Pony Kind of Gingerbread

First of all, Merry Christmas, Festive Hearth's Warming, and Happy Holidays to all!

As some people may know, I'm rather fond of gingerbread. Specifically the design and construction of gingerbread houses. It's one of my more passionate hobbies, if a somewhat seasonal one.

    Special Video Message

As an addendum to the conclusive chapter of one of my stories, I made a video to go along with it.

Cheat Codes · 5:55am Jan 16th, 2018

"Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Start"

In the world of video games, there exists a thing known as "cheat codes".
Specific patterns of unusual order, secretly added by the designers as a reward to curious and skillful players.
They can take any effect imaginable, from revealing secret outfits to unlocking new and game-breaking abilities.

There is a theory which exists as well, which states that, in an intelligently designed universe, there may also be cheat code-like secrets hidden within the laws of physics and biology.
However, the theory continues that discovering such a code would be an unimaginable feat, since the potential series of actions a living being may make would be infinitely vaster than that of a programmed character.

But there is one particular equine being, in a small town, on a modest planet with a truly unique orbital structure, for whom "unimaginable feats" are a casual past-time.

Meet Pinkie Pie. A small town baker and part-time adventuring hero in the pony-filled land of Equestria. For years she believed that she could predict the future through interpreting strange bodily twitches and involuntary motions.
And, unlike most predictions of the future, she was unerringly accurate. Once she pinned down the meaning of a series of bodily signs, the specified event never once failed to occur. Even her scientifically minded friends were unable to identify exactly how she could predict events with such accuracy.

Of course, the one thing they'd been missing was that for all those years of supposed understanding, they had all gotten the causality backwards.
