So, decided to start a new pony story. Probably go back to my almost-but-not-quite clopfic from December at some point since I liked some bits of it. But for now, wanted to get closer to what I write original fiction wise. Plus, who doesn't like cyberpunk? Crazy people.
Twilight - Rigger, the mare with the remote controlled drones and robots. Also a tendency to panic.
Rainbow Dash - Street Samurai, more cyborg than pony and likes to break things.
Rarity - Thief, she who picks the locks and disables security. How does she sneak around when she is bright white? "With style, darling."
Fluttershy - Sniper, because it lets her be far away from trouble and she spends most of her time being quiet and invisible. If things go right she never has to fire a shot.
Pinkie Pie - Decker, the pink pony hacker who provides computer support and overwatch from her digital lair.
Applejack - Face, pony of all trades, the upstanding respectable business pony that talks to people and handles all business matters.
Got the first scene more or less done. Good enough I might clean it up and actually show it to people. Though once again I run into the fact that even though I'm not a visual person, most of my story scenes and/or ideas would work so much better as movie or tv. It's the extra information bandwidth of audio/visual compared to just text.
Also, did a brief ponyfic review over on the main blog. Pony Stories 822. I'm pretty optimistic about doing daily posts there for the near to moderate future.
