A few hours early, but I figured I would write this while I have some free time instead of squeezing it in when I don't.
I didn't post much this year, I know. I've been looking over the same chapters again and again, always finding some faults or flaws that I revise to all hell. Even so, I'm almost 99% sure that the first five chapters of To Find Equilibrium are at a good enough quality. Chapter 6 and 7 are good, but there are some things I need to fix. Chapter 8 is the latest, and by far the roughest of them. I'll keep working on them.
But when it comes to other stories that you all might be expecting to update or continue, I can't really say for certain what's finished and what needs to be fixed. I continue to jump between stories, and I like taking breaks away from them if only to re-read them in a newer light. However, I'm almost afraid to post a chapter for them because if I do, I feel like it puts me on a clock to continue updating. I'd like to post the finished versions of stories up at once, but then there's no feedback or criticism to improve on. While I've been more or less dead, I feel less of a drive to post, and a bigger one to just write and revise.
On another topic, I updated my Story Graveyard to the most current and pressing stories on my list. I've also been working on non-pony stories on the side (Stories that may one day get published). I hate to say it once more, but unless I get possessed by some spirit that has a drive for writing, I'm not going to be any more active next year than I was this year. That being said, I would do some short stories if I get the inspiration one day.
It might be a new year, but tomorrow's a day like any other.
Enjoy it.
Thanks For Reading!
