Upcoming updates keep me up at night.

To those of you who enjoyed Applejack in Diamond Days, I'm currently halfway through Rainbow Dash's chapter which takes place at the very beginning of the war. She and her team of pegasi will be the first line of defense against the blood thirsty dogs. I'm trying to place hints here and there that allude to the dogs' motives and backstory and I'm trying to do so without ruining the overall feel of the story. I've also got Rarity's chapter partially written. I'm trying to include a rape scene in this one that is NOT meant for clopping, but I can't stop you.
I've got big plans for Twilight's chapter at the very end including an appearance by Starswirl the Bearded. After that I have a few ideas on the back burner for a sequel that will explain his appearance as well as a little timey wimey stuff. I don't actually watch Dr. Who so there will be no crossovers or references.

And in order for this larger storyboard to work, I need to add a little more to the Applejack chapter. Not necessarily for the sake of the story but to introduce readers to a theme that will remain constant throughout the story. I realize this is sloppy and I apologize, but when I wrote it, I was not intending on continuing it. Don't go looking for the addition now, it's not there. Maybe sometime within a month. As for the Rainbow Dash chapter, don't start holding your breath until around Christmastime.
I don't know how to properly explain the holdup, so I'll let Ditzy Doo handle this one.

But seriously, my classes are currently kicking my ass and I have very little time to work on this.

As with any new writer on this site, I need feedback. If you've already read what's put up, I encourage you to go back and tell me what you think. What was good? What was bad? What parts were sloppy or just didn't make sense? Plot holes? Even grammar, let me know.

Oh! I almost forgot! I would like to start doing something radically different. Whenever I finish a book, I like to listen to music that reflects the overall tone. So, what I'd like to start doing is, at the end of every chapter, place a youtube link to a song that really matches the tone of the chapter, a character's feelings, or how the reader should be feeling by the end of the selection. Think of it as ending credits. Songs I have on my list to couple with future chapters include artists like Three Days Grace, Metallica, and Seether. Again, I'd like thoughts on this and how it would add or subtract from the story.

But it's okay if you don't want to.
