Wow, it certainly hasn't felt like a year since my last public blog. I'm still here, although I'm unable to put forth as much energy to do much these days. Regardless, happy Hearth's Warming, everypony!

For those interested in the why of my rather lackluster appearances to date, I can fully explain now. Last year, the source of my constant fatigue and thyroid issues was finally discovered. Turns out I have an autoimmune disease where my body's immune system interprets my thyroid gland and the various important chemicals that it makes as threats. This causes it to attack the gland and, over time, slowly destroy it. That means that the symptoms progressively worsen over time, naturally, which explains what happened with me.
What this means for me, physically, is that I have less energy, difficulty staying awake, my metabolism slows down, and fatigue sets in much easier. Mentally, fatigue also sets in much faster, my general mood has gotten worse, depression has been exacerbated, and creativity stifled. All of this has led to a vastly diminished ability to produce writing on all levels, not just things pony, which is a definite problem.
I've already gotten large increases in various dosages of medicine I take for the issues, but it's an uphill battle and guaranteed to only get worse with time. I'm still working on writing whenever I can, but it's a very slow process. Chapter Two of Eternity Pending is still a thing that's on my hard drive, about half finished now. I'm not about to just give up on any of it, but I wanted to let those who care about my writing know what was going on, after so long. I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner on this. My online presence everywhere has vastly diminished over the last year, but I really should have dropped at least some form of notice. Bleh.
Long rambling update aside, I'm still writing. Work is still being done on Eternity Pending, I've started to consider a new pony story that I wanted to get out of my head, and I'm also working on an original story that I hope to one day publish. I just wanted to keep everypony updated on what was going on. I hope you all have a wonderful Hearth's Warming, and a pleasant night.

Shit, I have enough issues with energy without having health problems, I can't imagine what it's like having something like that. Hope something can help with it. Other than that, just do your thing. I'd actually be more interested in seeing what that other story you have in mind is more than the second chapter of EP. Mainly because I can't remember a lot of what happened now.

Damn that sucks, I'm sorry to hear that. Starting to think my following people is a curse given how many of the people i follow either develop health issues, are constantly sick, or get screwed over by life all of a sudden. I hope stuff doesn't get you too far down before you can get this a bit more handled.

I hope you still enjoy your writing, I know I'd love to see some new pony content. You had quite a hit in the Eternity stories, so I know what you make next would be wonderful in its own way.
