First, I'd like to mention there's plenty of time to write a story for my Wonderbolt Writing Contest, which ends in approximately four weeks unless people request an extension. Three people have already entered stories, which is definitely impressive, and I'll be sure to read them all when the contest ends. Anyway, let's talk about some less important things, namely story plans and miscellaneous stuff.
Anyway, I've thought about some potential story ideas, and I'm drawn toward writing a lighter story than one that is overly dark or edgy. It's why I'm considering a fluffy StarTrix story at the moment, though it'll have light shipping elements since I'm not exactly an expert at romance. The premise concerns Trixie feeling like she hasn't done enough to redeem herself in the eyes of ponies, as her magic shows aren't selling out, and it's up to Starlight Glimmer to comfort her close friend. I'm thinking of a short story whereby the first act concerns Trixie's improvements not getting the recognition she expects or wants, which leads into Trixie and Starlight working together to figure out how they can add some flair to her shows and place the spotlight on the boastful magician. While short and simple, it's Starlight Glimmer and Trixie, and they're easily my two favorite ponies.
Then again, I may end up writing something completely different once my muse returns, but that's what reached the tip of my mind over the past two days. Just wanted to let you know that I'm still into writing as a hobby, but it may take a few weeks before another story goes up. Regardless of my next choice, I'll be sure to let you know when I have a more concrete plan for the future, and I wish you all the best!

Glad to hear about the contest.
I had a pretty crazy idea for it, but it was quickly shot down by my friends, lol, and probalby for good reason. I don't mean to take attention away from your blog, but I want you to know the craziness that almost was.
The story is about writing a story that shows that the Wonderbolts are good, right? So, check this out. I had this dark, dramatic story idea where Rainbow Dash was actually a paranoid schizophrenic that was constantly getting lost in her mind, not knowing what was real. The illusions were almost constant and she was going mad, possibly trapped in a mental asylum (like, the idea would be that everything she's experienced in the show was an illusion.) However, the one illusion that kept her happy and hopeful was this fictious team called The Wonderbolts. Through all her insanity, she held onto the idea of being able to play for the Wonderbolts, even though they don't exist. And be that as it may, it gave her hope and hapiness.
So, like, in a weird way, the Wonderbolts would be heroes in this story.
Anyway, that was my nonsense idea.

That's definitely a strange idea, and I'm not sure how it'd fit into the prompt, but it does have the potential to be interesting with some tweaks here and there.
Oh darn it. I almost forgot about it. Sorry. Finals have been a bit of a pain amongst other things. I'll be definitely submitting something.

Finals are definitely a pain, and I totally understand why they'd take away time for reading and writing. Anyway, I hope they go well, and I wish you all the best on your other projects.
Cool! Maybe I'll enter if I have time!
I'm still tentatively maybe planning on entering. So there's that.

Here is your muse Mana! Did you feel inspired yet?
That's an interesting idea. I would read it.
