I mean, I happen to know that she's really busy grading, and she hasn't done anything on that review for ages. She'd probably never know.

Weeeell, Scoots would probably KILL me for mentioning this, but I'm having fun and she can't stop me! So I poured a whole lot of frozen strawberry lemonades into her when we were at lunch at California Pizza Kitchen about a month or so back and I kinda forgot to tell her that I told the waitress to make them margaritas. HEY, I thought she could use them because she looked all stressed out and besides, she'd lost so much weight that a few empty calories wouldn't hurt.* Anyhoo, next thing I knew she was blubbering into her lemonade about how she'd kinda met a Quibble Pants of her own at a con, only instead of being a dick on the outside and really basically nice (but pervy: I still say he's a HUGE perv) on the inside, it turned out he really WAS a dick and not the fun kind. And she took it really hard and that's why she lost twenty-two pounds in two months, her mane started coming out, and she got some kind of skin condition, too.

Those napkins at California Pizza Kitchen really suck at mopping up snot, you know? So I offered to chop his dick off and prevent a lot of future female misery, but she wouldn't hear of it. Which is too bad, 'cause I could of just DONE it and made the world a better, sweeter place, but she made me promise not to. She also nixed any ideas of dolls, pins, and dancing around midnight bonfires, because she is NO. DAMNED.FUN. After I got tired of listening to this, I shoveled her into a cab and told her to call Elric, only that might not have been a good idea, because I would have used a nice clean butcher's knife for the job, and Elric would probably go for a shovel and not bother to rinse it off first.

So she's still kind of a mess. Still, she's enough of a goodytwoshoes that either she'll go back to writing some nice, clean CheesePie, or she'll feel guilty about not finishing the Neigh review and do that, but personally, I think she needs to go out and get herself laid, or at least invest in some quality equipment, if you follow my drift, and I think you do. But she probably won't, because like I keep saying, she is NO. DAMNED. FUN.

*I would have had them put extra cheese on the pizzas, but Scoots is lactose intolerant and there's only a few kinds of cheese she can eat.

I agree with you on the picture.

I think that the chemistry on which you picked up and based Taming Rainbow Dash was very real in the episode, whether or not it led to events at all similar. And I think that they'd be horrified by the insane version of BDSM depicted in Fifty Shades. And, really, the personalities of both the "hero" and "heroine" of that novel.

I'm glad to hear word of Scoots2, though I'm sorry to hear that someone was cruel to her. Scoots is a really fun and good person and deserves better.

I hope that both of you start writing again. I loved your stories.

I keep TELLING her that it's better to find out that the douchecanoe is leaky before you get too far from the dock, but she's too darned sensitive. And she writes too much CheesePie, if you ask me. I think it's done something to her. ANYHOO, she's busy grading at the moment, but I think I can talk her into more Neigh reviewing, once her school term is over. She muttered something about wanting to get it over with before the last movie comes out, and I don't blame her. Have you SEEN that trailer? It's got all that sex and violence, and it still manages to be soooo boring.

I think Rainbow Dash would have gone to sleep during all the wedding stuff and Quibble would have windmilled his arms about unrealistic it all was. And then they'd agree that there wasn't nearly enough kink and try out something new.
