Hello!
So the results for the 3rd Annual Bat Pony competition came in... And I'm both surprised and not surprised.
I was in teen section... 'A Negative' by JackRipper won. This is the part where I wasn't surprised. It's a FlutterDash fic. Mane 6 shipfics are... well, extremely popular. As soon as I entered the competition and saw it I was like, "Whew, I'm fucked, this story made the featured box and has two and a half thousand views." My story then had only about 150 views and about 8 likes.
The part I'm surprised about is I got the honorable mention. My story isn't that good, and it was quite the surprise to see my story there!
It also peeves me that I got second place to A Negative, but it's a good story, so hey.
So I'm overall happy about it.
I'm a little disappointed that's all I could give you. It was honestly a good story, I had actually gave it a better score than A Negative. The other judges gave A Negative a better score than what I did, which is why it won overall. Both stories are great in their own rights. So yeah, you certainly deserve the honorable mention, it was the least I could do. Until next time,

To be honest, I am a little disappointed when my original ideas get overtaken by a well used concept, but I don't really mind... except I probably do, that $25 was going to go towards something XD

just felt more like a popularity competition looking at the winners rather than an actually good story competition.
