Obviously, I'm talking about how much homework I've been burning through in the past few hours. All I've done on Fimfiction today is check my feed and post this blog post.
A Tale of Two Cities so far is turning out to have one of the most hard-to-understand plots that I've ever encountered just because of the sheer amount of what I'd say is the equivalent of over-descriptive filler material. It took me multiple chapters just to figure out who two of the main characters were, before suddenly the next set of chapters jumps focus to an entirely different set of characters after a 5-year timeskip.
And this is what's made my analysis homework on the book so hard to accomplish. I have to identify the views of the author and characters on the ideas of justice and democracy, but with how much material I have to sift through, finding major points has been a bit hard.
At least I'm almost done for this section.
Also, has anyone noticed the slight redesign of Fimfiction? I noticed a slightly different story page layout earlier today while checking up on some notifications.
