Much Needed Vacation · 4:38am Nov 11th, 2017
Well, me and Bun Bun are off to Disney World. It is going to be a much needed vacation. This year brought a summer of overtime that just wouldn’t quit, my first attempt at a large collaboration story, and the 3/4 completion of an MLP40K story. Unfortunately, the first two items impacted my completion of the third by my original tentative deadline of November 1st here.
So, first, apologies for the lack of updates since the last chapter. I was working more overtime than I really should have let myself work and it seriously impacted a lot of things, story writing and reading included.
Now, one thing I did was partake in a large collaboration with several other authors. It was a learning experience, to be sure. I am definitely glad I took part in Break Away: The Alicorn Amulet Collaboration. I didn’t foresee the collaboration stretching out past spring, into summer, and definitely not all the way to early fall. I’m glad it did though, or I’d have had a pretty awful contribution. I’m pretty pleased with what I managed. Everypony should go check the collaboration out, it’s a compilation of stories centering around the concerted effort by Equestria to destroy the Alicorn Amulet. Each chapter is from the point of view of a different pony who has volunteered to be tempted by the Amulet. The idea is that when the temptation is rejected, some of the Amulet’s power is drained, with the ultimate goal being to cause the Amulet to cease functioning.
Now, for the MLP40K news:
I had originally planned on rolling out the last chapter by November 1st, and That obviously hasn’t happened. I am working on the next chapter. The going is slow, I have to switch gears to get back into the right mindset for both MLP40K universe as well as the tone for this story. I know the plot, I know what needs to be written, but as always, the words need to make it to the screen. I’d like to release it by December 1st, but I can’t promise that with how slow it’s going. I’ll update if that suddenly changes.
The chapter stars the Twins, the innuendo laden members of the Adeptus Marecanicus. The biggest hurdle with these two jokers is keeping the sex tag off the story. 
I’m hoping that I can make decent headway on the chapter’s rough draft in my free time while on vacation (bus rides aplenty at Disney) but I also expect to be refreshed and able to do a lot of writing once I’m back from vacation.

Speaking of dangerous, I mentioned giving your OC a quick cameo in Dark Rarity... and now I did the same for mine, as the role of Irrelevant. Remember Irrelevant? Rarity sure will, much as she’d rather not.
