Sorry about the long delay, everypony! I have been very busy with schoolwork (I know, same excuse
), so things have been as hectic as the episode boom earlier this season. Let me tell you, this has been one leaky season! But here's my last collab review of the season. Enjoy!
Note: I forgot to sum up the entire season. It had very mixed results. The episodes that excelled performed exceptionally; the episodes that didn't just fell flat. It was no Season Four, but it had its good points amidst the chaos of the double episodes and the leaks. In my opinion, I think it was because the movie was coming out. That may explain why so many of the episodes came out the way they did. Well, in all honesty, I can say that this has been a very surprising season. I hope that Season Eight can pull off the surprises like this season did.
I pretty much liked the season. There was honestly very little if anything at all that I outright hated. Then again, I am easily pleased, and I doubt anything can dissatisfy me worse than Legend of Everfree or "No Second Prances."

I can explain why The Pony of Shadows was underdeveloped, he's a shadow, this is an arch type of villain that lingers at the edge, a being that must not be allowed to come to the light and it if comes to the surface, game over.
I agree there needs to be more than just redemption. Oh heads upChrysalis is in the animatic for the Season 8 opener and Tirek's VA tweeted he be back for the Season 8 finale
Concerning the Tree of Harmony, the Pillars took a gem and imbued into it their virtues, which is distilled into the Elements of Harmony, the magic transformed it into a seed like gem and grew.
As for the villain origins comics... I never considered them part of the show's canon, a dependent AU canon, much like EQG.

I almost forgot to mention how much Starswirl and his interactions with Starlight matched your characterization of him in the RCF series. It was eerie...and somewhat annoying. I have my reasons.

Yeah, that was eerie for us too, which makes me suspect that the writers do read our stories.
