Unleash the Magic: Nightmare Night · 9:13pm Oct 18th, 2017
Hey, folks. Thought I'd give the first update on my promised Nightmare Night clopfic, now slated for release on Monday, October 30th... or earlier if I can get it ready in time.
I started it this past weekend. The first 5000 words have been put to paper (digitally) and I'm writing it at a pretty good clip so far. The prologue and chapter 1 are complete along with the first section of chapter 2. We're tentatively looking at another 10-plus-chapter story here, of which I intend to have at least five chapters and preferably more ready for the initial release just before Halloween. So, what to expect...?
The working title right now is Unleash the Magic: Nightmare Night, though I reserve the right to change it if I can think of something better. It's getting the UtM label because it's a companion story to the original UtM, in the same vein as it and taking place in the same verse, but dealing with an entirely new series of events on the other side of the portal. It's set in Ponyville during the first Nightmare Night following UtM, and also incorporates recent show/EqG shorts canon like Starlight's visit to Earth.
All that said... the new story is NOT simply a ponified reflection of UtM. The plot and progression of events will be much different but no less sexy for it, and the overall theme of it will be one quite appropriate for Halloween. It'll have a more of a lead-in and take a bit more time to get going than UtM did--the sex will start appearing in chapter 3--but given the scene-setting I'm doing, I don't think anybody will mind! Plenty of M-rated action is ahead, but using the mane 6 instead of their human counterparts allows for additional and rather intriguing possibilities...

You said it! Ponies are anything but boring when it comes to sex. It's looking great so far! The character interactions really strike a chord with me for their authenticity. I personally enjoy writing with the show in mind no matter what rating I'm writing at and this story has that same attitude. Can't wait to see it finished!
