I know I must be a stranger now

Hi guys. Wow, it’s been a while. A lot has changed and for a while, I just had no interest in writing, or reading. I did miss you guys a lot though, although most of you probably won’t remember me or are mad at me for leaving. I’ve gone through a lot of changes. I’m working for a new job now, I’m also no married and have my first kid on the way. However deep inside, you guys helped me get where I

It's a weirdest feeling being scared, but also trying no to laugh at someone.

So, it's been a...weird day at work today. Right as I got there this (I'm not being racist, just using description.) and this 6'2/6'3 black guy comes in, black hoodie with plaid jacket over it. He's just walking around, and just giving off this weird vibe about him. So trying to get work done, and he kept coming up to my friend and I asking random question. "Hey, you've seen my white bucket?

    Which one should I pick?

I need something that's going to help me get around easier, and that won't cost me 65$ a month. (Freaking bus pass). I"m debating if I should get a longboard again, or a bike. I used to longboard a lot when I was 15-16 but eventually my board broke and I wasn't able to replace it. Bike would be easier, but the last bike I had I didn't have a good experience with. In less then a

    Mwahaha

I guess my manager really likes me. I was told when I first started that I would be working Thanksgiving and Black Friday. I'm working 6pm on the 23 to 6am (when the store opens) on the 24th. So I only have to deal with customers for 4 hours of a 12 hour shift. :rainbowlaugh: Then I have the rest of Black Friday off, but I have to work that Saturday. Still, I feel like I'm getting off easy.

    I could use some advice...again.

So due to the opiod crises they have cut my mothers pain meds. My mother has fibromyalgia. For those who don't know, is nerve pain throughout the entire body. So imagine sprained or pulled muscles over your entire body. Because of the fibro, she's been on her meds for 20+ years. However they cut them in half already because they don't feel that she needs them, and they want to cut her off

I could use some advice · 6:41pm Oct 17th, 2017

Things are finally starting to calm down a little over here, and I finally got a freaking job. It's just seasonal, but it'll help. The problem is I want to get back into writing, it's been a while since I've gotten around to my fanfics. But my brain is wanting to be lazy. How can I get back into the writing mood? I tried sitting there and seeing if something can come to me (like I used to do), and I just sat there for 3 hours watching a chipmunk out the window until I fell asleep from boredom. Any advice on how to get back into the writing mindset?

For me it's two things. The fist is just thinking of one simple idea for a story. Then I try to expand on that idea and build off of it until I feel I've got enough going for a story. I'll come up with a scenario I'd like a story to revolve around. Then think of characters, settings and so on. I also listen to music that gets me in the mood for the kind of story I'd like to write, whether it's horror, adventure, mystery or whatever. Hopefully it helps!

Hey im glad things are calming down for you and that you are going to be writing again  I have a couple of things that help me (when I actually have the scarce time to do so :ajsleepy:) first, I sit and think of a story idea to do and jot some notes down on a piece of paper or computer document, whichever you prefer. From there, I play with the idea and think of how the idea could play out as a kind of freewrite idea. at the end, if I like the idea, i'll keep playing with it when I have time and then check on another project i'm doing to get inspiration to continue with that one.

the second idea, is that if you're not finding inspiration for a story you've been working on, save what you've got, and walk away from it for a bit, take a walk, do some chores or something else that helps take your mind off and/or is something that needs to be done, and return to it later to see if it helped refresh your motivation for the story. it works for me so it may help you

I hope this helps you Moon

Try watching the show or reading fanfiction

Thank you guys. I have a couple ideas of what can help now. I'm hopefully going to get back into it with Pinkie Mystery.

for me i'd watch something in the same genre of story you're writing for instance if it is a slice of life then i'd watch a slice of life anime or tv show etc. if that doesnt help just daydream when your doing other stuff that's what i do

Either classical music for focus, or sometimes rock for getting pumped when your on a roll. I'd recommend the first then the latter once you have a start
