Tentative Title: Wearing the Inside Out. Yes that's a Pink Floyd reference. It continues with my weird obsession to make a lot of music references in things and at least for a body swap story its not titled "Freaky Friday" or something derivative.
But yeah I have always tended to see Rainbow liking cute stuff in private and Fluttershy having a more assertive streak every once in a while- I do still run some ideas from way far back when I really started writing pony.
Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash switch bodies cause of Twilight messing up another spell and learning how to deal with their different routines and all that.
I need to get back into writing Fluttershy.
Haven't done the pony version in a while.
Rainbow Dash I get real well. Fluttershy I have always had trouble with. The others I get well too. The only non Fluttershy character I switch back and forth on is Applejack cause her accent is very weird to write. Like I have a similar kind of accent but I don't like writing it phonetically or something. Used to but I now tend to be on the please don't write Applejack's accent camp- or at least don't make into such an accent that it becomes a parody. Ah guess ah be li eve that ah caint do that ahl that well.
Seriously though sometimes her accent can be a bit much.
But back to Fluttershy
Either I accidentally make her too assertive or not enough, get all weird with actions and all that. Or I alternate universe her and get blowback cause its not her or something.
Its funny. Cause I get general ideas of the other five- now six I guess with Starlight and Fluttershy's the one I tend to get most worried about.
This probably will be some weird fluff piece. Or not. I have no idea. Seems like whenever I start a story I have two competing versions- the happy cute thing and the dark depressing thing.
I think this might have elements of both but probably will be more on the end of mostly cute Flutterdash stuff. And ironically my general writing style actually hasn't changed that much- original ideas for some of my really old incomplete works got dark and depressing,
Yes I remember those but I'm not a fan of rewrites or continuing real old stuff- the general writing style has changed enough to make that maybe a bit jarring.
Sounds like something I would gifve a read of.
I usually seem to be able to write a good fluttershy but that may stem from my own shy steak.
