Why We Die Update: Work On Chapter 1 Has Begun! · 8:20pm Oct 4th, 2017
Greetings Gotham, Joker here! Well, after the TREMENDOUS reception the prologue of Why We Die has received, I think I'll keep working on it for a while. If you haven't read it yet, here's the link to the story. Anyways, I've already got a fairly decent start on Chapter 1, which shall be entitled "I Must Confess, I Feel Like A Monster." Anyways, I was think about opening it with something like this:
I want you to take a moment, and think about all the things that define your life and its direction. All the people you love. Your friends. Your home. Your hopes. Your dreams. Your destiny. And now imagine if one day, in a flash, all of that vanished because a misanthropic madman tried to wipe out nearly all life in the world, a scheme that, though foiled, turned you into a monstrous fusion of Pokemon and human, a change that you pray to Arceus can be reversed. Would you simply accept your new life, continue on and try to find a cure? Or would you do whatever it takes to get vengeance and destroy those who took it from you, along with the rest of their ilk? Because I can assure you. My other half and I will get our revenge for what happened to us, and the last thing that those who remain of Team Flare will know in this life is what utter destruction and death incarnate looks like.
And even then, we’ll just be getting started…
Now, there is another aspect to this I'm thinking about doing, that being maybe showing Ash/Yveltal escaping the ruins of Team Flare's Secret HQ, flying off, drunkenly so, as they're still getting over their initial merger. Anyways, they crash in a forest somewhere in Kalos, and then having Ash take a look at his reflection, before screaming in horror, shock, and rage, but I thought I'd get a second opinion before I did it. Thoughts?
