    Status Update

I'm still around, but have written no words in the last two months or so, and am now, as of this month, 6 months unemployed (with no sign of getting anything anytime soon.)

No words have been written in a while so both stories are kind of in a stuck state.

Growing up has been put up for adoption

    Hey all,
I have decided to go ahead and officially put Growing Up up for adoption. As such, I have added it to the Fanfic Adoption Agency (FAA) group for adoption.

You may also PM me if you wish to adopt it as well so I can take a peek at what stories you've written, and finished.

Are horn auras visible in G4 · 3:41am Oct 3rd, 2017

Hey all,
As you are, or are not aware, I'm working on a G3 crossover. In the current chapter, the changelings capture a certain G3 unicorn, and are befuddled by the odd glowing of her horn (not the aura around her horn as she casts magic, but her horn itself.)

And as part, I tried to add some world building, but reached a conundrum.

Canonically in FIM, are the auras around the unicorn's horns visible, when they cast magic? Or is that just something the artists do for our convenience?

Thanks again, MintGreenConspiracy.

Edit: Thanks to BioniclesaurKing4t2 for answering this conundrum for me. Apparently, yes, unicorn magic is visible, as stated in Gauntlet of Fire.

Opening scene of "Gauntlet of Fire", season 6:

[Rarity] "Oh, for once I wish unicorn magic wasn't so…luminescent."

Yes, it causes visible light.
