The return! Danganronpa V.E: Creating Chaos · 3:41pm Sep 25th, 2017
Even though I have since dropped the project Danganronpa: Equestrian Despair did mean a lot to me. The fact that it is still my most viewed story despite it being cancelled speaks to how everyone seemed to enjoy. I wanted to continue working on it, but it just felt rather… beginner leveled. That’s why, even though Equestrian Despair is staying cancelled, I’m making an entirely separate story that is meant to be a reworking of that story. New story, new participants, a new location, and hopefully a better written story as well. Here are the participants of this new killing game, both new and old.

As you can see, many characters are returning from the previous story while some such as Luna, Cadence, and Zecora are not present. I decided to go with a group that was a little easier to write while keeping characters that I really liked a lot. There are also some other changes such as Ditzy Do taking over status as main character this time around and things like Rebuttal Showdown, Mass Debate (the three person debate thing from V3) and lies as well being added. I’ve also added in some other new things that will work with this being a story, so the Trials will be more interesting this time around.
Along with these new additions, comes Castle Despair, the new location that the killing game will take place in. A large outside area along with several floors and areas that would not have been possible in Hope academy. The area takes inspiration from the Academy for gifted Juveniels from V3 (which I’m really excited for if you couldn’t tell) and I plan to use my more refined look on the series to make this far better than what Equestrian Despair was.
