First of all, let me start by apologizing. I’m really really sorry that there’s been a hiatus and I haven’t filled you all in before now. You’re all probably wondering, and rightfully so why in the heck Season 4 of Life of a Wanted Changeling hasn’t already started after almost two months.
Well there’s two main contributing factors to that on my end.
Firstly, I have a new job with sporadic/long hours (with a scatterbrained boss to boot) that’s been eating into my time. I do have days off and free time, but where I would normally be using that time to write, I have been occupied with my second factor.
Right around the time we finished up Season 3, a family member of mine was severely injured in a motorcycle accident that left him with two broken legs that required surgery. He’s much better now, but he’s still unable to walk on his own accord and needs help around the house. Every minute I am not at work, I have been helping him and keeping him company. And let’s be honest, it’d be rather rude to be tip tapping on my laptop right in front of him.
So yeah, I’ve had a full plate of real life drama to deal with. My family member is getting better though, and is starting to require less and less help, plus work is becoming “slightly” less sporadic, so free time is becoming more available day after day (Me finally being able to write this as evidence).
Still, after all that, I do still feel guilty for keeping you guys in the dark, as the only one I really told was DWC. I’m sorry that I kept you all in anticipation, without giving you any updates. I hope that you can understand my situation, but even still I hope that you can forgive me my oversight.
I can’t say for certain yet when exactly I will get the recap and first chapter out to you, but if it’s not out by the end of September, then I’ll shoot for within the first weeks of October. The layout is all in my head, down to very minute details, I just haven’t had a chance to put them to paper. But once I do, we can FINALLY begin our last season for Bugze and Family.
Once again, I’m deeply sorry for the lack of updates, and I hope that you can be patient with me for just a bit longer. I’ll make sure you all are satisfied in the end.
