    Strike, fade, run

“Striking, fading and running. Each of these are three well used moves, my Lady.” Twilight spoke. “Most importantly, running.”

“Why would I run?” Rarity huffed, still bent over slightly and catching her breath.

    April, with many a day…

So I just spent from the third through today (sort of, still have some driving to do) on holiday. Went to Dallas to see the Eclipse in totality, swung though Hot Springs for… well, the hot springs, and finally St Louis for a lovely riverboat dinner before bidding the Boyfriend farewell and starting the trip home.

    Well, I started it...

All Good Things... has commenced. I may have a chapter of it up tonight.

I really want to start closing out the unfinished stories, but sometimes you just can't get back into the flow for them. Sorceress and the Siren is one, Into the Wilds is another. Which is sad cause I love writing Azure.

    Homecoming, in retrospect.

Homecoming as a series is a glorious mess. I’ve gone on short bits of fluff, created some … unique ships, twisted the fabric of canon EqG, and even touched on some dark topics.

    Don't you just hate it...

When you can't find something when you need to?

Case in point, I went looking for a comment where they alluded to It being like Frodo saving the Shire for everyone but himself and had to sail to another land to find solace.

But I can't remember what fic or anything else.

    And it's frustrating to me.

    Meanwhile, in other news...

I'm crazy... · 8:40pm Sep 21st, 2017

Because i, getting ready to throw my hat in the ring for the FlutterDash Contest #4 and I still havent heard about the others I am in. Plus revisions, two chapters left in On the Inside and ramping some tensions in Insurgence in xconjunction with moving (tonight is the last night in my old place, :( #notsad).

So please be patient with me the next few weeks.

While in on the subject, a box with eight textbooks strained the limits of my strength taking it down to the van, butva box with 70 novels didn't? What do they make texts out of, lead? :twilightoops:

But updates: final chapter is in works. Adding a scene of the Twilights playing with Flurry Heart and changing up the farewells so Sunny's sisters don't run into the Mane 6, thereby fixing a continuity problem. Also allows for a little more expansion with dialogue before the final goodbyes.

Up next: Got a Minute? - AJ sits Sunset down to make sure shes not misplacing feelings for one Twilight onto the other. I may do this as an add to the final chapter, or maybe more of a solo story. Cast your votes here!

I think it might be better having Got A Minute as an additional chapter instead. You could do Sunset's viewpoint of how the date goes and then have the sitdown with Applejack occurring the next day where Sunset reaffirms that her feelings are completely centred on Sunshine. Then, to cap things off, you could end the story with Sunset going to meet Sunshine or maybe have Sunshine arrive just after the conversation is over and Sunset goes with her.
