So, a dear friend of mine, Crystal Wishes, decided to spread some positivity with these Share a Smile blogs. The concept is simple:
Here's what I'd like everyone to do: write a blog post about someone (or someones!) who you don't normally interact with that you admire, look up to, or just simply want to praise in some way. Then tag it with Share a Smile, as well as the names of the user(s) you wrote about. If we're lucky—if enough of y'all participate—that person may just have the happy surprise of finding your post. If you could also include instructions at the bottom of your post for others who see it to do the same, that would be super!
Without further ado, let's start.
We met through QnB and you've always struck me as one of the nicest, most genuine people I've ever met. You're always so sweet to everyone and having you around just warms my heart. I've been a fan of your works for a long while—they always are so adorable and fun to read, and I've seen you developing in confidence in some of the later ones. I look forward to more of your stories!
I found you through your story, Symphony of Canterlot. I know you don't think that much of it, but I think it's freaking awesome. Basically, it's a slightly grimmer Dresden Files story turned into a pony version, and I love reading it. I also think of you as a highly intelligent and personable, but not prideful person, and have enjoyed what few interactions we've had. I wish you nothing but the best, and I look forward to more of Symphony!
You've always been one of the people that I've enjoyed interacting with the most. Not only are you a creative writer, capable of creating deeply poignant situations and stories, you're a really nice person and a lot of joy to talk to. I've loved reading some of your work, including your current non-pony project. It saddened me to hear that you would no longer be active on Fimfic, but when I get the time, I'm sure that I'll love your other works!
