This is a Skeeter the Lurker appreciation post. Skeeter is a wonderful pure cinnamon roll and a good friend. He reads all of your shitty fanfiction, even before it gets edited, and will be there for you when you're having it rough. He is always there, commenting on your fanfic, and almost always will be positive about it even if it's trash. He's great to be around at cons even if he has a problem and he knows what he did. He is wonderful and deserves to be reminded of that.

I enjoy Skeeter's enthusiasm.
I remember when I was younger, I'd get that feeling of pride when I beat Skeeter to commenting a story. Really petty, but Skeeter really seemed like a crazy reading machine.
I appreciate that his avatar name is an homage to a great sidekick from Doug, at least that's what I assume.
I haven't interacted with Skeeter that much, but from what I know, he's an awesome person. Not only has he given me a few pointers on stories, he's a blast to be around when it comes to FiMFiction, chats, and more. Anyway, I wish him all the best.
I finally had a chance to meet the famous Skeeter in person this year, and was pleased to find he was great people. Consider this a "+1".

This post was born during a conversation between me and Ny here on his story, To Be, which you totally need to read.
During it, Ny unwittingly became the recipient for a bit of a mini-rant from me on my woes about two jobs and how I basically do nothing but work work work these days.
Ny took it in stride and offered his condolences and well wishes. And then he went a step further: this blog. Which floored me.
And then Ferret here went yet another step further and copy/pasted (I think. They look quite similar) his blog for her own blog. Completely out of the blue.
Ferret is one of the best, hands down, and I'm glad I know her.
