I Have missed so much of Season 7...MLP....FiM..... · 10:30am Sep 4th, 2017
It has been so long since I have actually sat down and watched... Nope, scratch that. It has been a couple of months
(2-3), since I have actually pulled up a chair in my own area and watched MLP. Sure enough, I completed all of the episodes from season 1-6, just fine. The last episode of Season 7 that I did not want to miss was the one where the episode, revolves around Speedy Cloud, or Rainbow Dash (My favorite pony for over 4 years now) and her parents, which of whom (From the insight and feedback from the fandom, that I follow and join in on) were only speculated by seeing a young filly Dash, on top of a Stallion with a rainbow mane, and the substantial amount of another Pegasus with blue mane and tail, and a mix of pink and hot pink, named Fire Fly. They did not expect the parents to be the way they were, nor the attitude (Though most assumed they would have Dash's Competitiveness) Which we find out later all they do, is smile, laugh, be happy, and want to support the rising Wonderbolt daughter they have. It was a solid episode with cuteness, humor and all the lovely things about episodes like that.
Seriously though, besides Rainbow Dash's Episode, the only other 3, which I was late a week watching on the day of said 3rd episode, was episodes 1, 2, 3 and Dashie. I see the promos on YouTube and the 'book of faces' every week. I also have confirmed theory that AJ revealed a family secret between the Apples and Pears (Which gave me the feeling of the Hoofields and McColts episode, honestly) and dived into the Apple Family Tree Roots. I'm not upset with missing a ton of these episodes though this year as a brony, strangely enough. Last year I did not miss one episode of season 6, and always had my TV on, computer or phone streams, or hangout with our local brony meets for the episode.
This year has been a torture... well not torture, but enough things have happened that have made me become a ton more busier. Such is life when you are 25, and have to remember all the things of the day besides the job, and personal stuff. A lot of us have to sometimes. This year though has had me traveling the country from the west to the mid-west. and now back out in the west after 3 months again. Between entering into management at a restaurant, and the amount of stress from doing my best to keep the bank account balanced, I have not had a lot of time to gain to catch up with season 7. It comes as a surprise more to my friends than me honestly. I get messages, and comments and posts asking about my reviews and recaps for the stories, or just the fact I am not posting enough pony. Life made me park my car on the other side of social media, friends, etc this year.
In the end, I am still reminded of my appearance in the fandom and on my social networking sites, and sometimes conventions. I've been hanging around this fandom for almost 5 years. I have seen what it has to offer, which essentially is like what a majority of other fandoms do. Essentially, all of them are welcoming and friendly. The Bronies? Me a Brony? YES and YES! The fandom of ponies will always look awkward to the outsider, or some various situations that are easy to see and understand. Yes Bronies, FRIENDSHIP IS MA....20% COOLER!
Blog Writer Notes for Blog:
-Season 7 will eventually be available for Netflix, sometime hopefully in the next few holiday months
-Rainbow Dash has been my favorite pony with no switch for 4 years
-Based on my love for the 4 episodes watched above, I look forward to the rest of this season
