Chapter update! · 11:07am Aug 30th, 2017
As life will do, and has prove many times over now, it is complicated with moments of pause and long periods of pain in the ass work. I have been promoted to assistant manager at my local vape shop where i sell vapes and vape accessories... I tell'ya wot.
Between a now full time job and owning a business in a tourist town and also helping with my local brony group here in Tennessee, my life has become very busy. So it should come as no surprise to you all that more often than not, this story has to take a back seat to my everyday life. That being said, I still have found time to write, and write I have. This chapter is about... 1/3 of the way done. it is shaping up to be a 30k word chapter, even though I had planned for it to be much shorter.
It seems every time I go to write something short this always happens to me lol. What can I say. I carry a little note book with me everywhere I go, even when I am at work or with friends. if someone says something funny or if something funny happens, I write it down. if there is a moment where I recall something from my life from years back, I write it down. Sometimes I even here a story that moves me, yup, I write it down.
I write down everything and as such I have now got myself an idea board fit with a plot line and plot points. i have wagered that there is enough info there for over 2 million words worth of story, but since I doubt any of you will be willing to read that 2 or 3 years from now, I would say it will be condenses down to at the very least, 800k.
I hate that this story is taking me so long to write. It is emotionally taxing and at times I have to force myself to stay up all night just to get the ideas out of my head. Even now, I have been up for over 20 hours and have been writing for 5 of them. My son is asleep behind me on the couch and my wife is alone in our bed.
In the end it is worth it. I love writing very much and have put a huge amount of words to paper in a short time if you count out my short one month break for B-con. This is one of the only things that I have that brings me peace and calm in my hectic life i live. Rest assured that the new chapter will be coming out in the next two weeks, pending editing.
