Probably last one tonight.
My meme is now the #1 hot thread on the Sonic subreddit, so whoohoo.
Well, Steam now correctly states that Mania uses Denuvo, and Sega has acknowledged the issues, and they are working to make the game playable offline.
This is purely corporate suits at work here. The developers have openly come out against DRM, Social Media Community Manager Aaron Webber has openly stood against DRM as well, linking players to Sega's support page, and encouraging us to "make our voices heard."
Meanwhile, the game's score on Steam continues to slowly bleed, now at 77 (was at 88% at 12:00 PM EST), and all ten of the "Most Helpful" reviews are thumbs down, mine included.
Dunno why they even bothered adding Denuvo, it's just gonna be cracked in a week or so.
