Guild Home Video series: 8000

In 1986, the Video Recordings Act 1984 came into place in the UK. Guild already embraced it during the pre-cert era, with BBFC certs pasted on the back of the VHS. About the time of the act's coming into place, it got a new label with the G logo (now without the bottom tail) and the certificate being shown at the right and at the bottom, and with the warning from the old end labels:

When the gold G was introduced, so was a new label with gold lines at the top and the G and stacked words "GUILD Home Video" in the middle of them:

Later releases in this series - before it was taken over by Pathe - had a photo of the front cover to the left of the label.
