The Current State of Things

For the followers of I'mNoPony, I got a quick announcement to make:

Recently, I've started and put on hold a story called: "Return to Dark Water", which is about the Mane 6 becoming evil and a continuation of a story arc that IDW did in the comics. I reached an adequate safety point where I can put it on hold for a few... months while I focus on other stories.

I am returning to "Legends of Everfree: Friendship Makes Magic" and I should continue writing that for a few months. That story will be put on break again after the 2nd bonus chapter, but that should be at least be after I done 5 chapters or so. No promises because that's a rough estimate.

Last but not least, I'm thinking about writing a story about Applejack parents. Specifically, it will be about Applejack, her friends, and the CMC trying to find them. Ever since "The Perfect Pair", I've come up with an interesting story and I had an itch to really do it. One headcanon that bronies like and I hate is the idea that AJ's parents are dead. There's nothing to support it except for some subtle symbolism and word from the creators... but haven't stated it in the show itself. It's one of those elements to make the show more depressing than what it really is and not appreciating what the show is really giving you.

Anyway, a story about finding Applejack's parents. I'll probably publish it in a large burst. Have one chapter be a prologue and release 3 or 4 at once as "Episode 1". And after "Episode 1", I might Return to Dark Water and work on that for a bit (HA!). Meanwhile, I would write that story in between me writing LoE:FMM, so there might be some problems with me jungling with writing two stories at once..
