Happy Eclipse Day · 9:41pm Aug 21st, 2017
The Solar Eclipse has come and gone (at least for those living on the east coast of the U.S.), but I figured that now would be as good a time to commemorate the occasion with a little sneak preview of what's to come in Digital Harmony.
Just a heads up, you're going to see some MAJOR SPOILERS ahead, so don't say you haven't been warned.
==========
Digimon Analyzer: Eclipsedramon
Type: Magic Warrior
Level: Hybrid (Mega Equivalent)
Attribute: Data
Special Attacks:
- Twilight Umbra - Channels the power of darkness into their left hand, and fires it as a continuous barrage of missiles made of pure shadow. The missiles spread outwards before converging on their target.
- Luster Spark - Channels the power of light into their right hand, and fires it as a radiant beam of magic.
- Mega Eclipse Crusher - Summons the power of light into their right hand and the power of darkness into their left, cupping both hands together to merge the two into a volatile sphere of energy before launching it at the opponent.

Yup, you guessed it! It's the digimon shown in silhouette on the title image of Digital Harmony. This form is going to be playing a pretty huge role when it finally appears, and while I won't speak the details here, it's going to signal a major shift in the fic's overall direction when it finally shows up.
Here's hoping you stick around for it! Art is by the lovely Deko-kun, who unfortunately had to retire from drawing some time after making this image.
I don't understand the reason you made him a Mega Equivalent. By that logic, when the other Mane 6 DNA Digivolve(Because c'mon, what else could create him?) their Hybrids will also be Mega Equivalents. Let me put it this way, if it came down to all of the Mane 6 DNA Hybrids against 1-2 opponents, and every Digimon in the fight is a Mega Level or Equivalent, then the 6 would win, every time. The power commanded by just ONE Mega Level is enough to destroy a decent size army, imagine how OP SIX OF THEM WORKING TOGETHER would be. The only way I could see the 1-2 Megas winning is if they were OP enough to handle ALL OF THEIR OPPONENTS AT ONCE, and logic would then dictate that the 1-2 would be nigh unbeatable.
Now that that rant is out of the way, I love how the design of the armor is based slightly off of Magnamon's. He was such an awesome Armor Digivolution, and he got too little screen time, only one episode! I guess being the Radiance of Miracles is a one-time gig, huh?

Digimon series don't typically reveal all of the final evolutions at once, there's always a progression such that the scale of the threats the heroes face roughly corresponds to the number of partners that have reached their fully-evolved stage. I wouldn't worry too much about the heroes becoming unbeatable... you'll see that they'll have their work cut out for them.
