I had an idea recently, one that may make my stories more entertaining... or at least a bit cooler. However, I didn't want to just convert all of my stuff to use this idea until I knew for sure it would work. So... If you're willing to be a bit of a beta reader for a minute, head on over to the first chapter of my Hero Souls: Awakening story. I've edited it to incorporate colored text where I believe appropriate.
All you have to do is let me know in this blog if you think it looks good. If most of you think it does, I'll get to work on applying it to the rest of my story.
And don't worry, like the music, it won't be in every chapter. The colored text is there to symbolize a few things. Vast rage, transformations, telepathy, and when the Mane 6 are in particular sync with their respective Elements. Stuff like that.
I will also accept suggestions if you think I can improve upon it further.

First it looks like the green is missing from the music links but the red stopping point are still there. If you are going to keep the music you should change how you plan on handling it. Secondly be careful when using a shade of gray, it maybe missed when you use it or not caught right away. Otherwise it looks like it will work nicely.

I suppose I could use red instead of grey, but I wanted something shadowy, to point out how Nightmare moon was more shadow than body at that point.
Maybe a darker shade of grey?

Also, Fimfiction is preventing the color function from working on links. I had to use the underline function just to make it visible.

No red could confuse people with the stopping point for music or a missing music link. A darker shade of gray could work.

Wow that caused it to really pop, I thought you had bolded them. That would work, I would recommend holding off till a few others chime in as they may have been busy today enjoying the eclipse. Hopefully they either respond to the blog post or just thumbs up this post. Enjoy the rest of your day!
