Hey there all,
So... I have been dealing with quite a lot since the last time I showed up here. Mostly been dealing with my depression and trying to get my life on track. Because of the way my brain seems to work, I go through what I've been calling my 'phases'. I'll do something: reading mlp and furry fiction, writing, watching tv shows, or playing video games, until I seem to get bored with it and then move onto the next phase. The length of each phase is extremely random and I only just got back into my mlp phase. Yes, mlp has its own phase same with my furry phase. I haven't really worked on SoU at all lately, but I do plan on getting back into it.
I just got caught up with the show, having missed half of season 6 and the start of 7. I was pleasantly surprised by the changeling development. Interesting side note: about a year ago, I started telling myself a story, (which I eventually plan on typing out as it takes place in my mlp universe) to help me calm my mind before going to sleep. It's another human-turn-pony story like SoU but this time, it's a human-turned-changeling story. In it, things happen and my changeling, whose name is Gentle Pride, sort of Ascends? and becomes a whole changeling. Scary thing is, they way I pictured Gentle's whole form is eerily similar to what happened in the show. I blame my prophetic tendencies. My version didn't have the 'gems' or whatever they are on the chest, but the wings were similar as well as other features.
Anyway, I'm back, not sure for how long, but when I get into the mood I will write the next chapter of SoU for those who are still interested in reading it.
