So people are asking me why this is RATED M for mature. It's rated M for mature because the subject matter is SUBJECTIVE in nature and I do not know what some readers MAY or may not find to be mature in nature.
MOSTLY it's for the quote at the bottom of the story:
“As I stood there, with the two of them staring at me, I suddenly realized that this was more than just a one-night tryst in a hot tub or a drunken fumble with a horny couple, this was the start of something, an adventure. Not just for me, but for the three of us. We had finally made the jump across a gap that had been holding us back ever since we had met and what boundaries and reservations there had been were now destroyed.”
― Michael Bayswater, The Adventures of Michael Bayswater.
So,
While I understand people do not GET why it's mature, I'm kinda not sorry. This quote that ties into the story, infers things of a mature nature:
1. one-night tryst
2. drunken fumble with a horny couple
So while I get that the story itself has no mature content, this quote does. I won't remove it because it really speaks to how Sunburst is written.
So thanks, everyone! Sorry for the confusion!
Horse Noises :D
UPDATE: after much reflection I've downgraded the rating to TEEN.
