Yesterday I was drinking some Arizona tea. When I took the third sip, some brown goopy stuff slid into my mouth and I swallowed it. I ended up dumping out the rest of the contents of the can into the sink and all of this brown goopy stuff the consistency of snot came pouring out of the can.
I immediately rinsed my mouth out like a million times. I couldn't do anything about the stuff I swallowed though. :L
Does anyone know what this brown goopy stuff might be? Am I going to like die because I accidentally drank some?

Also, this reminds of this one time when I ordered a McDonald's chicken burger thing and found a giant disc of plastic inside of the chicken patty (no lie!). I bit into the patty and felt something hard. So I removed the outer layers of chicken from the areas of the harder potions inside and found a giant plastic disc right in the center of the patty! I have no idea how that ended up in the chicken burger. Any thought on that too? Let me know. :L
Could be mollases. Its the same co sistency, and its sometimes used as a sweetener since its just sugar.

Dunno. I like Arizona tea too, and I've never seen that goop before.
High fructose corn syrup looks almost the same as molasses too, so it could be that, since both are sweeteners.
4639305 I sent an e-mail to the Arizona Tea Company's customer support branch. A person who works for the company sent an e-mail back. They said to call them during business hours and tell them which can was contaminated (the serial code) so they could warn the manufacturing plant. I unfortunately don't have access to a phone until Monday. So I will have to call them then. :(
