Coming Eventually: I Am Venom · 9:19am Aug 17th, 2017

Greetings Gotham, Joker here! Well, the time has come. I hereby formally announce my brand-new M-rated (because that seems to sell better, and because of a certain character I’ll unveil later in this post) Venom Displaced story entitled “I Am Venom.” Now, this particular version of Venom is something of an amalgamation of several different incarnations of Venom, namely the regular comic book version, the Ultimate Comics version, and the Spider-Man 3 version, the appearance of which he takes. Also, the symbiote doesn’t try to take over my guy’s mind nor does it eat him alive.

HOWEVER!

This doesn’t mean he’s gonna be a Gary Stu. You see, while my guy will remain in complete control of the symbiote at all times, the suit does amplify his emotions, especially anger, rage, frustration, and hatred, which, even when he’s in his civillian identity, can cause Venom to act irrationally and make the wrong choice, such as going after the bad guy and leaving endangered civillians to die, or punch some guy who’s hitting on his girlfriend, Rainbow Dash, at a bar or nightclub and start beating the shit out of the guy. And of course, as this version of Venom is a mash-up of three different versions of Venom, that also means he has the weaknesses of those versions: Sound, Fire, and Electricity.

Now, as far as villains go, I’m still fine-tuning the details, but I do know that it’ll be a mixture of anthro pony versions and the original human versions of Marvel villains. Here’s who I’ve got so far:

Lightning Dust/Carnage (she’s the big bad of the first story. Seeks revenge on those responsible for her downfall, such as Spitfire and her team of Wonderbolts and Rainbow Dash and the Mane 6. She, under the influence of the Carnage symbiote, has absolutely no regard for human or equine life, and will kill anyone who gets in her way of obtaining her vengeance, be it figuritvely or literally. Also, she’s the reason for the M rating.)

Amadeus “Prince” Blueblood Jr./The Kingpin (runs the largest organized crime operation in Manehattan. Of course, he doesn’t take too well to Venom showing up and screwing up his operations, so he calls upon a slew of other villains to deal with the problem.)

Arcade (a combination of his Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon version and his comic book version, and one of my human versions of the villains. He is hired by Blueblood/Kingpin to send Venom through one of his Murderworld amusement parks. However, even without Murderworld, he shouldn’t be underestimated with his ability to control anything electronic, a superpower that I wish I had.)

Vinyl Scratch/Electro (starting out, Vinyl Scratch is afraid and corrupted by her new powers, gained from an accident at the nightclub where she works, but eventually, she becomes something of an ally to Venom and part of a team he and Luna start putting together at some point.)

Starlight Glimmer/Dr. Octopus (still working out her story, but I do know she reforms and becomes part of Venom’s team.)

Trixie Lulamoon/Mysterio

Norman Osborn/Green Goblin/Iron Patriot (this version is something of a mash-up between the Amazing Spider-Man 2 Harry Osborn version and the more traditional comic book version. He’s the same age as Harry in TASM2, is currently engaged to the girl who will one day not only become his wife and mother of his children, but becomes Menace, the Harley Quinn to Norman’s Joker, except Gobby treats his girl right. Unlike in TASM2, Norman doesn’t have that disease and the Goblin Formula is once again a government project, along with a version of the suit Harry wears after he decides to be a dumbass and ignore everyone telling him that the serum wouldn’t work.)

That’s all I got for now. I know it's not much, but I'm gonna try to follow VampDash's advice and just let it come naturally. Lego Marvel Superheroes gave me some good ideas for Batman-esque scare tactics for Venom to use, so that'll be fun. Also, I promise all 508 of you, right here, right now, that a version of this scene from The Flash will appear when the Mane 6 throw down with Venom.
