Cat and Kitten Update

Well! It turns out that the cat we adopted is a silver Bengal and she mated with a Savannah Cat; which means that the kittens are half Bengal Cat and half Savannah Cat!

In case you don't know what a Savannah cat looks like, well...here's a picture.

Savannah Cats grow to be HUGE; the size of a medium sized dog! The are technically classified as an exotic pet. Bengal cats are classified as an exotic pet as well.

Fortunately is a legal to own both Bengal Cats and Savannah cats in my State or, eh, I would be in a bit of trouble. <_<

By the way, this is what a silver Bengal looks like. They grow to be pretty large as well.

The kittens are a combination of a Savannah Cat (from the father) and a Bengal Cat (from the mother, our adopted cat). Servals are a different kind of exotic pet that you can also own in my state. Savannah Cats are actually a cross between a Serval and a domestic cat. Sevals and Savannah Cats look very similar in appearance due to being so closely related.

This is what a Serval looks like:

This is what a Savannah Cat looks like (they actually come in many different sizes, colors, and some look identical to a Serval):

We found homes for three of the kittens (Cookie, Muffin, and Sugar). The husband of the lady who adopted Sugar let us know that the kittens were Savannah cats (she knew that because her husband is a vet).

She also told us that the kittens (and the mom) are exotic pets and can sell for $6,000.000 each, with a proper license to sell exotic pets!

We of course, don't want to sell them. We found homes for three like I mentioned and we are keeping the rest.

So pretty soon, I will have three kittens grow into the size of medium sized dogs! :')

Wish me luck. <_<

Here are some pictures on the mom (Boots) and her kittens (Pancake, Cupcake, and Cinnamon).

They are mixes so they look a bit different than a typical Savannah cat. But they are all very cute and they will grow to be huge!

This is the mom, the silver Bengal Boots (she is a Bengal mix).

These are the Savannah kittens, Pancake, Cupcake, and Cinnamon (Savannah mixes).
