Daily Thought #1 · 3:02pm Aug 16th, 2017

Do you ever walk outside and wonder how many animals, humans, or other creatures have pooped or peed in the environment around you? Or how much bodily fluids like boogers and whatnot are stuck to the ground?

I just imagine this huge layer of poop, boogers, blood, puss, earwax, vomit, piss, and so on, on top of everything; parking lot surfaces, cars, playground equipment, buildings; you name it, it probably has the most disgusting things you can think of stuck to it.

I mean sure, certain insects or other animals might eat some of the waste. But there is probably still a lot of it left at the microscopic level.

And then you have to think that all sorts of creatures have been leaving their bodily fluids around for millions of years. Some rock we pick up could be a giant dinosaur booger or something. Maybe a river is still filled with prehistoric T-Rex pee.

And this doesn't even take into account trash! There are tons of chemicals, rotten food, needles, and other unsanitary items in the trash which often escape the dumpster and end up on all surfaces as well.

Any way you look at it, we are walking on top of disgusting things every day; even in our own houses!

I guess there is no escaping being 'trashy' no matter how many baths or showers you take a day. :(

I guess that means I'm trash

4636815 Don't worry. We are all trashy due to the amount of waste products we are around every day. :(

But don't feel bad. We bring the class back to trash. :coolphoto:

I sometimes think about before the city was built, and it was just plain desert. How many people had to cross it, and how many creatures died in this area.

4636858 That's interesting to think about! Maybe there are ancient civilizations, prehistoric animals, or dinosaur bones buried beneath the sands. ;)

4636866 Exactly. Or even what the natives left behind.

4636903 We have lots of Native American ruins in the area I live. It is neat to visit them. :)

4636904 That's awesome. We used to, but the only place you can find pretty much anything from the natives are at Moapa. (The Indian reservation just outside the city.)

4636927 What State are you from? I am from Arizona. We have a lot of Native American ruins here. :)

Oh! Are you doing a daily blog series now too? Or is it a somewhat-daily blog that you update mainly based on your mood?

Ehhh all that which you had listed degrades overtime. Though I am surprised you didn't mention corpses, at least I have seen my fair share of dead animal corpses just rotting away on the pavement.

Personally I am more worried about bomb fragments (radiation) or worse unexploded bombs lying around. Or forgotten mine or something.

4636970 I really have no schedule for my blog. I post whatever I feel like. :')

4636972 You are correct! Dead bodies, undiscovered explosives/ bombs/ land mines, underground gases/ chemicals/ oil and so on are other things to worry about too. <_<

4636952 I live in Las Vegas, Nevada.

4637000 Oh cool! Your State is right next to mine. XD

4637035 I've visited various parts of Nevada many times. XD

4637038 It's a nice state.

4637045 I have liked the places I have visited. :)

4637050 Where have you gone?

4637139 Well I visited Las Vegas of course. :P

And some national parks there/ areas of interest like Hoover Dam, Lake Tahoe, Lake Mead, and some other places.

4637146 That's awesome. Next time you come to Vegas, check out the wetlands. It's so beautiful out there.

4637264 That sounds awesome! I will have to check them out next time I visit the State. Thank you for the recommendation. :)

4637265 No problem.
I just googled a picture really fast. (I know exactly where this was taken too :rainbowlaugh:)

I used to be afraid that I would find a dead body or something in my backyard....horror movies...and I thought at four that if I found one it might be a zombie....which is why I don't like having backyards.

4637783 That would be very creepy indeed. But you know, sometimes people find ancient artifacts, treasure, and dinosaur bones in their backyard too. So there is a positive side to that. ;)

Well, I wasn't thinking about any of that, but now I won't ever forget it. THANKS.

*germophobia intensifies*

4638699 Sorry about that. T^T

4639475 Yes. They are always lurking on everything. waiting to latch onto you. <_<

4641846 Yess. Stay back! T^T

4642130 The only thing we can do is douse them with disinfecting spray and hope for the best. T^T
