I have not learned my lesson. · 11:10am Aug 11th, 2017
I'm starting a new story.
Yes, I already have two stories. But sometimes an idea just won't get out of your head.
It's a crossover. Which means, it might not get published at all - I'm not confident it'll be any good. Most crossover ideas I get only get a chapter or two in before I realize that the idea is kinda cool for the first two chapters or so before I realize that I have no real plot, and the entire thing is "I think it would be really cool for character X to meet the ponies."
This one seems more promising, as the lore connects freakishly well, but still, I can't say if I will be able to make it work or not.
Just bear with me until I get it out of my system.
Don't worry though. For those of you who worry about this messing with the release of chapters of Breaking Dawn, don't. This won't usurp that. It might actually help, as thoughts of writing remind me to continue work on that instead of the countless other distractions and responsibilities that I have right now.
For those of you who are wondering what sort of crossover this is, it's Undertale.
Yeah, I know. "But that's dead! Why would you make a crossover now?" Well, I didn't like it because it was popular. Just like I will still like MLP when the Internet calms down about it. (Something that is happening currently.)
And I haven't really seen any crossovers for Undertale that are both serious and good. (There was one that was good, but it was just a silly "Woona goes to the Underground" thing.
Of course, I know the limits and scope of a good crossover. If I brought every character into MLP, there would be simply too many characters. It'd be a nightmare. So I'm only bringing one. (Technically two? You'll see.)
