I've updated the avatar again to make it slightly swankier (I think that's a word):
No, it is not a Hello Kitty crossbow.
I'm interested in feedback on my Patreon setup. Recently Jewel mentioned that it might be a bad idea to have the content up-in-the-air where I'm charging for a mix of multiple kinds of product instead of just horsewords, even though horsewords are the vast bulk of what I'll output.
Should it just say "Trick Question is creating stories", then?
Also, should the pay trigger change to something more story-focused, like "10,000 horsewords, or occasional related content (games, music, art)"? Or just say "10,000 words"? The problem here is I do want to churn out other related content I know my fans will enjoy, and the Patreon won't be as motivational for me if I can't use that content as product.
Also also, should the reward levels and goals be changed or in some cases removed entirely? I crave your delicious feedback!
Any advice is appreciated, as always. Thanks!
Now it's more obvious :D
For Patreon, I recommend going with whatever's simplest and easiest for you to fulfill.
You mean, should u count blog posts? I do, but only certain blog posts. You can see what I did, but I won't claim it's the best thing to do.

Nah, I mean if I post music, video games, or visual artwork (these won't be common). I've tweaked the wording on the page so those aren't obvious, but I have a small warning still present.

How / where would you post video games?

I'd make a pay post that includes a link to an executable release on Github when a game is ready for beta testing.

I'd also like to take this random opportunity to rail on how shitty Arial is as a font, as illustrated by the fact that you can't easily tell an italics 'i' from a slash. I've always hated i's that look like lowercase L's. (Note that I had to switch the capitalization just to state that sensibly.)
My default sans-serif font isn't Arial: it's Verdana. But the system here refuses to use my browser's default font—it explicitly demands Arial. (I also use Georgia rather than Times New Roman for serif.)
